Design your own jewelry bowls

November 2023. Leipzig has opened the event season for the winter semester 23/24: On Friday afternoon, a small group from the Joachim Wach Haus, accompanied by Tobias, who works there as a tutor, and Christina, our Community Manager, were able to get creative with Sandra Zander in the Zandergalerieofarts. After a brief introduction, it was time to get creative. Each of the participants was allowed to design a jewelry bowl made of Jesmonite and another bowl. After the silicone bowls had been decorated with various gold leaf flakes and stones, the sand and milk were mixed into a creamy liquid and colored as desired. The liquid was then poured into the silicone bowls and then it was time to wait - until the material had hardened. In the meantime, we were able to color candles, snack on some treats and listen to Christmas music.

Afterwards, we went to L'Osteria in Leipzig to round off the evening with delicious food and a good atmosphere.
